POLISH-JAPANESE PARTNERSHIP FOR SECURITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Polish participation in the World Expo 2025 in Osaka creates the opportunity to summarize the results of the initiatives undertaken as part of the Polish-Japanese strategic partnership that has bound our countries since 2015, and to discuss the directions and fields for further cooperation.

This project, part of the NAWA “Direct to EXPO 2025” program, is coordinated by the Department of Japanese Studies that operates as a connector between the multi-faculty UW team and the Japanese academic centers and research institutions. It entails organizing events in Japan like: academic conferences, expert seminars, and open lectures that introduce researchers coming from various UW specialties. The aim of the project is to showcase the academic and didactic achievements and potential of the University of Warsaw, to exchange knowledge and experiences in implementing the concept of the social responsibility of academic centers, and to activate various forms of academic cooperation.
